Watercolor Cafe: A Galentine’s Week Art Class in South Austin
Slow down and make something by hand at our Watercolor Cafe, a cozy, all-levels friendly watercolor class hosted at La Patisserie in South Austin, just minutes from South Congress.
With Galentine’s week in mind, this class is an invitation to step offline, learn a new skill, and spend time creating in a cozy cafe setting. No prior drawing or painting experience is required. This is a low-pressure, welcoming art class where the focus is on process, presence and enjoyment rather than perfection.
Guests will be guided through drawing and watercolor basics and techniques in a warm intimate atmosphere. Come alone, bring a friend, or make it a Galentine’s night out. Materials provided. Pastries, teas, coffees, and wine available for purchase.

There’s no assigned title and no pressure to prepare. Just time to read quietly together, followed by relaxed, thoughtful conversation.

Fête de la musique
Austin Angers Sister Cities's annual Fête de la musique 2025! On June 21st, from 5-11pm, we invite you to Canopy Austin on Springdale Rd.
The event, organized by Austin Angers Sister Cities, celebrates global friendship through music, food, and culture. It will feature live music performances, food vendors with international and local flavors, and activities for all ages.
Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025.
Time: 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
