I’m not sure which analogy is more appropriate. But I felt like a kid in a candy store, or a kid on the night before Christmas. After 20 years and a painstaking 5 months, the dream had finally become a reality and the doors of La Pâtisserie have opened.

The peppermint macarons were unreal! I think I may have a new addiction.
So for a few months, our beloved neighbor, Amy Bryant, has been bringing some of your wonderful creations by the house. Although I was more than appreciative of our neighbor’s gifts, and overly impressed with the quality and taste of your macarons…I have had to endure the pains of going without being able to purchase them at will!!! No more pains, and I will see you this week!
